A mere 8 competitors inevitably found the SWL out at Woking and our 40 points, almost all gleaned from the field, left us well off the pace.
HHH won with 98pts,from Bedford 75,Woking 73 & K&P 4th.
All the highlights came in the field, not surprisingly since we only had 2 athletes in the track events - Anna Schlerf & Liz Richardson.
Camilla Thrush was well pleased with her 38.98 Hammer, her best mark for 2 years and not very far off her PB/Club record;a PB was the reward for Chyna Vincent with 2.10 in the Vault;we had one double with evergreen Liz Davidson(11.34) and Chyna( 9.82)taking maximum in the Triple Jump;there were also B wins for Emily McIlwain(LJ) & Odette Butson(on her debut) in the Discus;whilst Emily(HJ) used up some adrenalin to eventually clear 1.50 easily;and TM Debbie Vernon weighed in,too!
A very pleasant day for a change but not really a result to remember teamwise. Full results on the NB at Kingsmeadow.
